Preventive action

Procedure

Process

Set of interrelated or interacting activities which transform inputs into outputs.

Process Assessment Model

Extension of so-called Process Reference Model, the extension being related to the process dimension and adding aspects of experience/practice, specific notes and semi-finished products, and adding generic practices and resource to the capability dimension.

Process capability

Value of a statistic estimation of a final process output, the state of statistical control of which has been demonstrated.

Process reference model

The process reference model defines obligatory requirements for the process. In the process dimension, the model includes process ID (e.g. MAN 3), process classification, purpose and outcomes. In the capability dimension, the model incorporates maturity levels and process attributes.

Process requalification

Process/Procedure instructions

Process/procedure instructions represent a specific type of task which is necessary to meet defined activities related to quality. Such instructions are implemented according to defined rules (e.g. signature).

Product

Result of a process.

Product creation

Process incorporating all the activities from an initial design to production.
